AARGH

Ok, so I had totally written a whole post and then by the time I tried to publish it, the session had timed out and I lost the whole thing! grrrr

Anyway, it wasn't anything important. Mostly I was complaining about the fact that my mother (and I am sure my father is behind it) is making me get a part-time paying job in addition to my part-time non-paid internship. How horrid! I am going to have to work with incompetent people, doing some meaningless task solely for money... how is that going to in any way enhance me as a person?? Oh well. I suppose I shall live, if barely.

My other post was longer and had more than just complaints, but I am annoyed now, and it is time for me to go tutor (for the last time!). So, I hope everyone is having a lovely day/week, good luck with exams, and I hope my post inspires you to write something delightful to brighten my day!!

Get your head around this...

Ok, so in my history class today, this kid asked a question that was started with "I just can't get my head around the fact that..." So, I have heard that expression before, and I know what it means, but it really is just goofy. I get this mental picture of the guy's head expanding and encircling something... Anyway, I spent more time than I should have thinking about that during class, and I wrote "head around" on my hand in bright green ink so that I wouldn't forget to share my delightful thought processes with you all. I hope you appreciate my efforts to, you know, enlighten you.

In other news, I am sad to say that I, despite all efforts, am not going to be able to make it to the Magnet banquet. I have two exams that same day, including one at like 1 pm, plus one on the day after (Saturday). So, it would be impossible for me to drive there and back and still be able to make decent grades on my exams (or even make it to the exams). This deeply saddens me (and I am not being sarcastic; I am disappointed), but c'est la vie.

Anyway, I definitely have, like, more work than I can possibly get done in one night to do today (formal bio lab report, math homework, spanish composition) so I guess I should stop procrastinating... OH but the reason I couldn't get it done this weekend is cuz I had my totally awesome Rape Aggression Defense course for 12 hours!!! It was so cool. Don't even think about attacking me, or I may be forced to severely injure or kill you. waBAM!

OH YEAH and also, Sewanee is now on Facebook, and though I have yet to get on the site, my friends have signed me up, made a profile for me, and put me in groups (they are a little obsessed). So anyway, if your schools are on it, we can be facebook friends! OK. now i REALLY have to go.

Winds gusting at 26 knots...

I am totally bummed because I can't fly today because the winds are too high. I am going to have forgotten how to turn the freaking plane on by the time I get back up in one. Anyway, I am so bummed about that and everyone around here is asleep, so I thought I would tell you guys so you could feel sorry for me, and then make nice cheery posts that will make me happy.

In other news, The West Wing Season Four DVDs come out on Tuesday, and of course I have pre-ordered them, so I am VERY excited (as you should all be).

Anyway, I have to work now (very important, very scary bio test on monday) but I really want to hear from you guys! Post! Tell me what you are doing!
